The Association (Los Angeles – Downtown)

I probably would've had a better review for this place if I hadn't gone to The Varnish afterward.  That aside, this place definitely has it's merits.

Pros: SPACIOUS - Plenty of couches and seats to be had, so finding
a place to park your ass is easy.  The bar, itself,  is also big
and they have enough bartenders so you don't have to wait
long for service.  Very lively place with a good vibe to it.

COCKTAILS - Excellent libations to be had here.  I tried the
Hemingway and the Pearfecta.  Both were refreshing with a
slight nod going to the PEARFECTA.  They have a cocktail
menu which consists of 10 or so drinks but these guys are
more than capable of making up quality drinks on the fly.

I will frequent this bar again and again.  It's a very cool place to throw some drinks down and just chill.  The atmosphere is ultra laid-back and perfect for large parties.  I'll certainly make it a point to come back.
