Frysmith (Los Angeles)

I tried the Sweet Po Fries with Chicken and found this dish to be too sweet and too "one note."  I expected some tanginess from the Tomatillo, but with the addition of Tamarind in the sauce, the sweetness was a bit overbearing.  I wouldn't have been able to finish these fries had they been the only ones I tried eating.  I would prefer these fries without the tamarind and some crema.  - 2 stars

I also tried the Rajas Fries.  These were better and my only criticism is that these were really under-seasoned and also could have been helped out with the addition of some Sour Cream or Guacamole to top them off with.  - 3 stars
