Sage Gimlet


I bought a pair of coupe glasses today so I thought I’d out bang out a simple cocktail for a nightcap. 


Sage Gimlet

3 oz.  Gin
2 oz.  Lime Juice
4-6  Leaves of Fresh Sage
1/4 – 1/2  tsp. Sugar.

In a cocktail shaker, Muddle Sage with Sugar til Sugar is dissolved and Leaves are broken down to a paste.  Add Ice.  Pour Gin and Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice over the ice.  Shake Vigorously.  Strain and Serve in a sugar rimmed glass and garnish with Sage Leaves or a Lime Wedge.  Cheers!
