Deep Fried Pimento Stuffed Olives

I first tried Deep Fried Olives at 8 Ounce Burger Bar on Melrose.  I was indifferent to them then and I still am.  The batch I made was just too salty.  I used jarred olives as opposed to fresher deli style olives.  I'm sure that's why the sodium was off the charts with mine.  I suppose you can use jarred olives but I'd recommend giving them a good rinse over with plain old water before breading them and frying them.  I wanted to stuff the olives with cheese or a sliver of Spanish chorizo but since these were already stuffed with pimentos, I left them as is.  I ate a few and i discarded the rest.  The only thing I liked was the breading.  Just plain old seasoned flour to seasoned egg wash to seasoned panko bread crumbs.  Unfortunately, that is all I liked about these suckers.
