Vesper Bar & The Cosmopolitan (Las Vegas - The Strip)

Cocktail Napkin.

Vesper Lounge/Bar.

The view above from the bar.

Simple Syrups.

Fresh Juices.

Our Bartender, Jason, working on Lilly's Ginger-Based drink while my Aged Rum Cocktail Chills.

Flaming an Orange Peel for the finishing touch on my...

...twist on the Manhattan.

Lilly's refreshing Ginger Cocktail.  I forgot what what went into this drink but it did have Fresh Ginger, Thai Bird Chile Simple Syrup & Kaffir Lime.  Garnished with Candied Ginger.

Lizzie asked for something sweet so Jason went the dessert route and combined Fresh Raspberries with Chocolate Syrup, Cream & Liquor.  The glass was Rimmed with Chocolate & Garnished with Picked Raspberries.

Apparently Lizzie's drink caught the attention of other ladies at the bar because suddenly everyone was ordering it.  Jason grew a bit tired of repeating the same drink over and over again so he switched it up a smidgen and allowed me to sample some of what he created.  He mixed Nutella with Jelly, added Cream and  some other ingredients and called it "Peanut Butter & Jelly" - Very apropos, I must say.

Terry went with Vodka as his Base Spirit and received this.  Although they do make classic cocktails, most of the drinks that they serve here appear to be modern ones.  I didn't catch the name (if it was given one at all) that this drink was given.  Consequently, I didn't catch what else went into this drink.

Nice touch with the bottle.

I had to have one more drink before calling it a night.  I asked for our bartender's go-to drink.  He knew just the thing.  K.O. over Mexico is what he made and it was my favorite drink of the weekend,  Among other things, this had Tequila Reposado, Basil, Citrus, Agave Nectar, Bitters & finished with Freshly Cracked Black Pepper.
