Coolhaus Shop.
What they had available the afternoon we went.
Yada yada yada Mezcal blah blah blah. What can I say, they had me at "mezcal." Yes, even over brown butter & candied bacon!
Here she is sandwiched between a potato chip cookie and double chocolate chip cookie. Excellent!
Balsamic Fig Ice Cream Sandwiched between a potato chip cookie and peanut butter cookie.
This caught my attention in the background. Talk about retro! Well, sort of. It was a boombox alright - but designed for an Ipod.
Assortment of ice cream sandwiches, ice cream sandwich cakes, ice creams-by-the-pint, cookie dough and beverages. They also sell nifty looking T-shirts.
I wish I had paid close attention to the board before I purchased my pint. Wow, $12!!
My $12 pint. I should have asked for a discount, for the type-o. Kidding aside, next time, I'll pass on the tub of ice cream and stick with the sammies. Carmela's offers their pints at $5 or 2 for $9. Either way, my bad for not paying closer attention and nobody forced me to buy it anyway.
But Guinness & Pretzel Ice Cream beckoned my call. This is my 2nd time having Guinness Ice Cream. It was good but not $12 good. And the pretzel idea, while good on paper, it didn't really work for me. The pretzel bits got mushy as I figured they would.
The ice-cream shop.
