Pete's Cafe (Los Angeles - Downtown)

Pete's Nachos with added Steak - Chips, Jack & Cheddar Cheeses, Jalapeños, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Black Beans & Pico de Gallo.  The dish was average but considering the price tag ($15), you get a better deal at The Yardhouse.

Kabocha Squash Soup with Spiced Pepitas & Maple Syrup Gastrique.  I don't know why I don't order more soup when I eat out.  I mean, really enjoy good soup!  Oh ya, there's that whole sharing thing - soup just isn't the most sharable of plates.  And I can't see myself hunkering down to a bowl of soup for my entree.  No, never that.

Blue Cheese Fries - the only reason I keep returning to Pete's Cafe.  These are probably my favorite fries and definitely my favorite blue cheese dish.  I noticed they added more fries to the menu.  They look interesting enough to order one of these days.  Some of the new additions are; garlic cilantro lemon fries, chipotle fries, bacon cheddar fries and truffle arugula fries.
