These are some of the goodies they have available.
I wanted to try the homemade Ding Dongs but Lilly had other ideas.
No matter what her ideas, I was gonna get a Maple Bacon Sticky Bun! But back to her ideas (SMH, as they say), we took our food next door to Las Perlas - which explains the poor lighting.
She wanted to go savory and ordered a Mushroom Empanada. If I had to get an empanada, I would have gone for the Picadillo one. The empanada was okay but not satisfying enough for me an an empty stomach. I needed something with heft. Sorry, but I've yet to find a dish where I haven't felt cheated by swapping meat for mushrooms. It's inconceivable to me.
Click on the image to get a better look at their menu. They're also starting to sell some pretty awesome sounding grilled cheese n soup. I might just give that a whirl if I make it in time before they close.
The huge logo behind the counter.
