Fluff Ice Truck (Alhambra)

The truck.

Kiwi Fluff Ice with Strawberries - Refreshing but I wasn't digging the artificial kiwi flavor.

Mango Fluff Ice -  Apparently this is their most popular flavor.  The Fluff is mango flavored and comes topped with fresh chopped mangoes and some gelatinous mango candy.  I could have done without the mango candy but all in all, this was my favorite of the 2.

Coolhaus Truck (Los Angeles)

A diner of ours, by the name of Cari,  informed me that Coolhaus was giving away ice cream sammies just blocks away in front of Spitz.  Well, after my shift, I made it a point to head on down there.

Sure enough, they were giving away free ice cream sandwiches.  I picked up a free strawberry ice cream sandwich and purchased 2 more for my peoples back at work.  Something about just showing up to collect free stuff - I can't do it!

Anyway, I picked up the free sandwich and bought a strawberry mojito ice cream as well as a fried chicken and waffles number.  Needless to say, the oddball sandwich was for me.

Well, I liked it but I got very little [to no] fried chicken flavor so I was let down.  Then again, maybe it was a good thing that I didn't taste fried chicken in my ice cream!  What do you think?

The Bruery (Placentia)

The new tasting room.

I think I prefer the old room.  It was bigger and inside of the brewery itself.  Ya, it used to get really hot in the old room but you had the beer to cool you off.  Plus, in this new tasting room, you can no longer purchase 5, 2 ounce pours and a keepsake tulip glass for $8.

On the flip side of the coin, they have around 40 taps that you can choose from.

Smoking Wood.

Part I of the beers on tap.

Carmen with Kiwi.

Pt II.

Kevin's Fuzzy Peaches.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Coton Old Ale.

 Pt IV.

Slapfish (Huntington Beach)

Peach Lemonade.

Ya, I agree.  Pretty damn good.

Chowder Fries.

A portion of the appetizer menu.

Lobster Roll.

 Lobster Melt.

Some of the condiments they have.  Cocktail sauce, tartar sauce & "Spicy Awesome Sauce."

Some how (lobster), some way (lobster), this food came out to $45.  Was it good?  Yes.  Was it worth it?  Me thinks not.
