Bruery's Mischief

Mischief - just an all around solid beer.

While Craftsman Brewery was the local brewery that opened my eyes to craft beer, Bruery's Mischief is the one that kept me on course and made me the craft beer loving geek that I am now.  I was already a fan of Belgian style beer, so when I had this for the first time, I was instantly hooked.  Apparently I wasn't the only one because, Mischief really put the Bruery on the map.  I would call this their signature beer just like I would say Arrogant bastard is Stone's signature beer.  But Stone and the Bruery couldn't be any more different.  One clubs you over the head with hops while Bruery experiments a lot more.  Stone has the IPA thing down pat.  The Bruery has a lot more range, however.  Not always with success though, but they are not timid when it comes to pushing the envelope - and I like that.  For the most part, Bruery's releases are highly drinkable.  If you haven't already tried some of their beer, I strongly suggest you do so.  Let me know what you think.
