Mariscos El Hermano (Vernon)

Tacos Dorados de Camaron ($1.50)  - the reason I go there.

Fish Tacos ($2 each) aint too shabby either.

I think I prefer the green tabasco-esque sauce on em over the red sauce.  I've had better fishy tacos but these are not shabby.  For me, the signature crema is thin and the seasoning is a little light.

You can also dress them with a red salsa which I also like.  But I prefer that...

...on my ceviche mixta ($5).

I usually eat my tacos here and take the ceviche home.  As opposed to Mariscos Jalisco, here they box your ceviche sans tostada.  They give you 2 tostadas to build your tostadas with however.

The ceviche mixta comes with fish, whole shrimp and chunks of octopus.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  Although, I kinda miss one of my favorite ceviches dishes ever now that I think about it.  This is very good.  La Guerrerense is on some other worldly shit.  Man, those were awesome...

The Tacos Dorados de Camaron are the reason I started coming here.  I got hooked at Mariscos Jalisco and I'd go there with even more frequency if this truck weren't in my direct path to work.  After some time comparing the two, even though the tacos here are a quarter cheaper now, I still give the nod to Jalisco.

I prefer the sauce at Mariscos Jalisco a bit more and I find the seasoning better,  Again, these are not bad by any stretch of the imagination.  I'm virtually splitting hairs here.  You can't go wrong either way.
