Pizzanista! (Los Angeles - Arts District)

Signage.

This is my go-to spot for pizza.  It's on my way to and from work as well as to and from "play."

My favorite pizza is the Prosciutto and Arugula Pie.  It comes with a base of tomato sauce and mozzarella.  It gets topped with arugula that's been tossed with lemon and olive oil.  A generous lacing of prosciutto goes over that and grana padano is dusted over the top.  Buenisimo!  It is only available in "18 and costs just about $30.  It is more than filling for 2 people with a few slices left over to take home.  I highly recommend it.  Definitely for an adult pallet though.

Bacon, Pepperoni & Sausage Slice.

All that being said, Jessie and I came by to grab a few slices of pie to soak up the booze from the Halloween night to come.  The dough and quality ingredients are what stand out immediately.  Just a fine pizza.  Oh, and the best part; you can order at Pizzanista! and have them slide your food through the hole in the wall into Tony's Saloon next door.  #Winning
