Baby's Badass Burgers (Los Angeles)

I really dug Baby's Badass Burgers on my last outing to Venice.  These burgers tasted like they didn't come out of any ole food truck - gourmet or otherwise.  The patty is thick, juicy, seasoned better than most and the bread used is, sweet King's Hawaiian buns.  Delicious.  I've had King's Hawaiian used as hamburger buns before at Doghaus, but there, they use 2 side by side slider buns to mimic the top and bottom buns.  Apparently, King's is making bigger buns now, so I'm happy for that.  Remind me to pick some up next time I grill some burgers!

Anyway, both burgers I tried were great but I don't know about the price tag.  For 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks I purchased, I forked over around $30. Then again, my bad for not bringing my own beverages.  I should know better by now.  I'd gladly have another burger and maybe skip the fries as they were nothing out of the ordinary.  Too bad they're not around me as much as I'd like.  You can usually catch them around the beach cities, Beverly Hills, Chatsworth or other cities that I find too far to travel.  But if they happen to be around, by all means, their burgers are definitely worth a try.

Their logo.

The scene on Abbott Kinney pretty much every 1st Friday.

She's Smokin! - smoked cheddar, crispy onions, bbq sauce, bacon.

The Other Woman - blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, sauteed onion, ranch.
