I picked this bottle up from Downey Liquor store. It was recommended by one of the dudes that orders beer for them. Spencer hit this one out of the park. I loved it! Buuuut, he also spoke somewhat highly of one of the worst beers I've had in recent memory - Shipyard's XXXX IPA.
So, the jury is still out on whether or not I can trust this guy blindly. Either way, this was a great find.
Appearance: 1 finger of light frothy head, straw yellow in color, no lacing,
Aroma: Pineapple, apricot, peaches, vinegar, lemon and pear.
Taste: Finally, a mouth-puckering sour from someone other than The Bruery. Medium carbonation, pineapple, yeast, chardonnay/Gewurztraminer traits, sherry wine sweetness.
