Pismo Brewing Co. (Pismo Beach)

Craft Beer in Pismo Beach.

This was not on my "things-to-do-list" on our mini excursion up the coast a couple of months ago.

This little tasting room just kinda fell in my lap.  "So, what the heck," I said!

Their beer list was pretty standard in terms of styles.  Nothing jumped out at me.

So I had them all!

Including their Blueberry Blondie.

My favorite wasn't even from Pismo.  I found Pismo's beer just a notch above Claim Jumper/Yardhouse/Downey Brewing Co. beer.  In other words, entry level craft beer.  Segway beer between mainstream and session-able craft beer, is how I like to think about it.  Their red and brown ales were okay though.

My favorite of the lot was Barrelhouse Brewing's Stout.  It instantly became a brewery I'd like to visit one day.

As far as Pismo goes, I wouldn't mind stopping by again...if I was in the area.  But that would only be to try some guest tap beer, unfortunately.  Womp womp womp.
